Cheap Travel to Europe! STILL A POSSIBILITY!
After taking some time off from traveling, you may be wanting to jump back into the travel scene or jump in for the first time. Europe is waiting and ready. Did you know that there are OVER 1,000 airports in Europe with scheduled fligths? In fact, airport codes .io the site says there are 1026! Of those airports, let's try to find the ones that have the cheapest fares, right? Logic says that flights going in and out of larger airports will be cheaper. More people riding one airplane share the fixed costs of operating the plane and so more people mean less expensive.
However, airlines don't always follow logic, especially when it comes to pricing flights. Otherwise, hub cities like Cincinati (Delta), Detroit (KLM, Delta), or ATLlanta would be cheap to fly in and out of. Is seems the airlines often take the opposite "logic" and say "Since we are flying in and out of there to switch crews and service aircraft, we can charge as much money for airline tickets as possible." No cheap flights from these cities. What?!? Who here is crazy?
So even though there are 159 large airports in Europe, there are another 867 smaller airports and thanks to the budget airlines like Ryan Air, Wizzair, and Easy Jet, many of these airports have cheap tickets on airline travel. Most of these budget airlines don't service the United States, so it is your job to find cheap flights over to Europe to make cheap travel in Europe a possibility. There are also a lot of airlines competing for your business if you will go out of a city where they operate. Many European airlines now compete in cities where they weren't able to fly before. This works in your favor in finding cheap travel to Europe.
